ARGO AND BEN AFFLECK RECEIVED CRITICS´ CHOICE AWARDS FOR BEST MOVIE AND BEST DIRECTOR

By Tony Franco In less than 24 hours, after the movie "Argo" was nominated by the Academy in seven categories for the Oscar, except Best Director, Ben Affleck ,  won the  "Critics' Choice"Award  Thursday night in that category for his work on the movie "Argo", which also received the award for Best Film, at the 18th annual presentation in Santa Monica, California.



The Critics’ Choice Movie Awards are bestowed annually by the Broadcast Film Critics Association to honor the finest in cinematic achievement every year. 



Argo, the winning film is based on facts that ocurred in 1979 as the Iranian Revolution reached a boiling point and a CIA exfiltration specialist conducts a risky plan to free 6 american hostages.
