LUCHA REYES AVENUE DEDICATION AND FREE CONCERT WITH EZEQUIEL PEÑA THIS SATURDAY AT MARIACHI PLAZA IN EAST LOS ANGELES

Councilmember José Huizar invites you to attend the Avenida Lucha Reyes Dedication and Community Concert.

Come enjoy the dedication of Avenida Lucha Reyes at Mariachi Plaza’s Bailey Street in honor of legendary Mexican Ranchera singer and cultural icon Lucha Reyes. 

As part of the celebration, Mexican Ranchero singer Ezequiel Peña, “El Nuevo Charro de México,” will headline a FREE community concert! The Avenida Lucha Reyes designation is part of a $12 million streetscape improvement plan led by Councilmember Huizar, with the support of Metro and the City’s Public Works Department along Mariachi Plaza and the First Street Arts corridor.

Improvements include new sidewalks, trees, lighting, landscaping, art components and street furniture. The street dedication and concert promises to be a fun, Boyle Heights’ community celebration.
