LOLLAPALOOZA SUMMER FESTIVAL STARTS TODAY IN CHICAGO 250,000 MUSIC FANS EXPECTED

By Cindy Lopez Starting today, over 250,000 music fans will flood Chicago’s Grant Park for a weekend of music at Lollapalooza Music Festival, an annual event featuring popular alternative rock, heavy metal, punk rock and hip hop bands, dance and comedy. The ninth edition of the Lollapalooza summer music festival features neo-folk acts Mumford & Sons and the Lumineers, and breezy pop from Phoenix, the Killers and the Postal Service atop the bill. Diego María de la Concepción Juan Nepomuceno Estanislao de la Rivera y Barrientos Acosta y Rodríguez , known as Diego Rivera (December 8, 1886 – November 24, 1957) was a prominent Mexican painter and the husband of Frida Kahlo. His large wall works in fresco helped establish the Mexican Mural Movement in Mexican art. Between 1922 and 1953, Rivera painted murals among others in Mexico City, Chapingo, Cuernavaca, San Francisco, Detroit, and New York City.
