WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE MOVIE THIS YEAR TO WIN THE OSCAR?
  • DJANGO UNCHAINED
Quentin Tarantino´s film, with actor Leonardo DiCaprio and Jamie Foxx,  managed to be among the best films of the year.In I personally loved it´s one of the best western films  I've seen in years. The music, scenery and great acting contributed to a great film.

    LINCOLN
Acclaimed Steven Spielberg directed this film and Daniel Day-Lewis is the main character doing an excellent interpretation of one of the best presidents and most remembered that this country has had. An emotionally moving film that reminds us of the great values on which this nation was founded and that many try to exercise even if it cost them their lives ...

    LIFE OF PI
This is an epic film that follows the adventures of a boy and a tiger who survive a disaster at sea and collected rave reviews and accolades from industry insiders. No doubt that good things come in different shapes and forms and when after  all you' had is lost ... you find the determination and courage to continue and achieve your dreams.

    ARGO
Ben Affleck acted and directed at the same time within the film. I think he definitely deserved to be nominated for Best Director, unfortunately the Academy did not see it that way, even though he won the Golden Globe and Critics´Choice awards this year so far in that category.  The story is about the struggles to rescue six American hostages during the Iranian revolution in 1979.

    LES MISERABLES
Starring Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe and Anne Hathaway who won the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress. This high-quality film  features a large cast that will definitely impress as this classic never fails to captivate!

    SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK
Bradley Cooper stars in this romantic comedy with Jennifer Lawrence and legendary actor Robert De Niro, one of my favorites, I always enjoy seeing him act  and this film is no exception ...

    ZERO DARK THIRTY
Directed by Kathryn Bigelow, the film recounts the hunt and killing of Osama Bin Laden,  the leader who directed the attack against the  United States in September 2001.  I saw this movie about 3 weeks ago and I believe the message  of  the film is "Perseverance pays off..."
The endless efforts of a CIA researcher, makes it possible to find the most wanted terrorist in the last decade. The Brilliant performance by actress Jessica Chastain made her a winner of the Golden Globe Award in January for Best Actress and she also won the Critics' Choice Award. I have no doubt she could get the Oscar too, it would be well Deserved

    Quvenzhané_WallisBEASTS OF THE SOUTHERN WILD
Stands out as an independent film and even with the absence of superstars, it is a great film and excellent work in many ways. The universe depends on all its parts being in the right place ...
Winner and acclaimed in festivals such as Cannes and Sundance Film Festival, this film worth watching and cheering the performance of small and big movie star  Quvenzhané Wallis, who was also nominated at her young age (9 years old on January 10), as Best Actress for Oscar this year,  being the youngest in the history of the awards to be nominated in this category.
This prodigy child  turned  9 last month, but she was only 6 years old when she made this movie!
She is currently working on the movie "Twelve years of slavery" directed by Steve McQueen, photographer, sculptor, and British filmmaker.
I am sure we will hear from this amazing young actress in the years to come.

    AMOUR
The French film tells the story of a couple who rediscover their bond when they reach old age. It was a winner for Best Foreign Film at the Golden Globe Awards Ceremony.
